We are pleased to announce that Kyle Hankins will be joining our Music and Worship Ministry Staff beginning September 1, 2023, as Church Pianist. Kyle has served the past several years as Interim Worship Leader at Pleasant Heights Baptist Church in Columbia, Tennessee. He has also had extensive experience as the Worship Leader for various churches throughout Middle Tennessee over the past twenty years.

Kyle Hankins has lived in Nashville since the fall of 1985 where he attended Belmont University obtaining a Bachelor of Music degree in Theory and Composition. He has served as the organist with the Nashville Predators since 2002. Mr. Hankins is the collaborative pianist for the Nashville Children’s Choir, works with several private schools throughout Nashville, accompanies students at Fisk University, plays for Vanderbilt and Sounds Baseball games, and holds various other musical positions. Kyle states he is very excited to see how God can use him in the life and work of Nashville First Baptist Church.

Kyle and his wife, Paula, are blessed with three incredible adult children, Madeline, Nicholas, and Jonathan. Please help us make the Hankins feel welcome as they join our Nashville First Baptist Family of Faith.
