INFORMATION & BELIEFS

Nashville First Baptist Church is a historic congregation living into a renewed vision — a church not just located in the city, but genuinely for it. Everything we do flows from one simple call: connecting Jesus to people, people to community, and community to mission. That means centering our life together on the gospel as our foundation, leading with grace instead of pretense or performance, and welcoming people to belong. We take discipleship seriously — following Jesus shapes every part of life, imperfectly but genuinely — and we believe the church exists not for itself, but for others, called outward in love toward our city and our world. At NFBC, we invite every person into a rhythm of worship with the church family, Scripture and prayer in daily life, relationships through community, and service through meaningful contribution.
