Volunteer Opportunities Within the Church

We have identified several teams that respond to church needs: 

  • Care Team : Routinely checks in with church members and those who have requested assistance.
  • Healthcare Team : Help with doctor visits, picking up prescriptions, etc.
  • Benevolence Team : Respond to requests for assistance.
  • Food Team : Deliver food, purchase groceries, etc.
  • Prayer Team : Pray for received prayer requests.

Volunteer Opportunities With Our Partners

Many in our community need help now more than ever, including our ministry partners. Below is a brief description of our partners; ways you, your family, and your friends can safely serve; and ways to connect with each.

Project Connect Nashville connects churches to community. They work with individuals and families to break the poverty cycle through relationships, resources, and education.

Second Harvest is one of the largest food banks and distribution centers nationwide. It works with companies, groups, and individuals wishing to provide food for those in Middle Tennessee who are hungry.

  • Sort and pack food donations

Hope Clinic for Women – Equipping women, men and families dealing with deal with unplanned pregnancies, prevention, pregnancy loss, and postpartum depression. We provide medical care, professional counseling, education classes, case management, mentorship and practical support regardless of age, race, religion or ability to pay.

Opportunities to help:

  • Financial or Diaper Donations
  • Essential cleaning supply donations

Nashville World Outreach Partnership supports and serves the immigrant and refugee community of South Nashville through a variety of ways that meet basic needs and promote education.
