Desperate for Hope: Questions We Ask God in Suffering, Loss, and Longing | Wednesdays (Oct. 18 – Dec. 13) via ZOOM or in-person

Have you ever asked, “Why am I going through this? What if this never gets better? Does God really care about me?” When life falls apart, it’s easy to feel disillusioned with God, hopeless about the future, and doubting your faith.

In this 7-session study, Vaneetha Risner tackles hard questions and offers a scriptural framework to help you find hope in your pain. She will be a gracious guide through this difficult topic.

Join us if you want to:

  •     Gain confidence to bring your hard questions to God.
  •    Find strength and hope through Scripture when all hope seems lost.
  •     Be equipped to come alongside others who are suffering.
  •     Rest in the presence, purposes, and promises of God.
  •     Reframe your circumstances in light of the bigger story.

MENTAL HEALTH: THE CHURCH’S RESPONSE

Wednesday, October 4 from 6-7 p.m. | Fellowship Hall

Do you want to learn more about the critical issue of mental health? Are you looking for effective ways to respond to those struggling with mental health challenges or to equip our church to address mental health within our congregation and community?

As Christians, we can uniquely respond to and support people experiencing mental health challenges. We can compassionately respond to their physical needs, encourage them to seek help for their mental and emotional needs, and share with them how to satisfy their spiritual needs through the eternal hope found in Jesus Christ.

According to the Barna Research presented to our church, mental health is the number one issue that the un-churched community in Nashville would like for the church to address.

Join others for this one-time seminar, “Mental Health: The Church’s Response” to discover more about mental health and ways to help you and your church assist those with mental health struggles.
