Lives Shaken: Harper Family Survives Storm

On March 3, our community was impacted by devastating tornadoes. One family from our congregation who lives in the Mt. Juliet area suffered heavy damage.  Read this first hand account from Michelle Harper about their experience, and how they are using it to strengthen their faith and family.

Our church has set up an informational web site for members. It includes the latest updates from health professionals, messages from Pastor Frank, sermons that were streamed, prayer requests and other helpful information. Please use it as a reference and tool to keep us all connected. Click here to view page.

Using REALM to Stay Connected

Church members are encouraged to use their REALM account to stay connected during these times of isolation. You may access REALM through a web browser at (add to your bookmarks for easy access) or through the App on your phone (download through the App Store or Google Play Store — “Connect – Our Church Community). Read some helpful tips on how to use REALM.

New Option for Giving

The church has added a new option for giving via text. To give money thru text, enter the amount followed by our code. For example, if you want to give $50, text the number 73256 with “NFBC BUDGET $50.” Make sure that you use all caps and include spaces. The amount can be changed to whatever amount the user wishes to give. After sending your first text, the user will be sent a link to complete their bank account information. Once your information is stored in the system, in the future you can just text your gift to 73256. Our hope is to give members another tool to help during this time.

Members can also give through our website at or by mailing in your check to : Nashville First Baptist Church, Attn: Myra Mathis, 108 7th Ave S., Nashville, TN 37203.

Building updates

Since many have not been up to the church building recently, you might not realize our crane has come down! The building is now topped out and progress is continuing. Demolition has also started on Pastor Frank’s former office. Click here for updates and to view some interior pictures.
