What if every Sunday morning you could quickly find the Scripture reference that the sermon was based on? Chances are you were in Bible Drill at some point in your life. Helping intentionally develop Bible skills in the lives of children is what Bible Drill is all about. Bible Drill prepares children with hands-on ideas for locating, learning, and applying Scripture. Isaiah 55:11 says, “So shall my word be that goes out from my mouth; it shall not return to me empty, but it shall accomplish that which I purpose, and shall succeed in the thing for which I sent it.” The Scripture they learn with their minds and hold in their hearts as youth will remain with them throughout their lives.

Bible Drill at Nashville First is an epic four months for 4th – 6th Graders. Preteens are challenged to memorize 25 Bible verses, 10 key Bible passages, and learn to locate any book of the Bible in under 10 seconds. Combined with lunch, games, and parties, Bible Drill is a challenging adventure your preteen won’t want to miss. Bible Drill will be held on Sunday afternoons, January – April from 11:45 a.m. – 1:15 p.m. in Room 360. Contact: Mary Bunn, 615.664.6023, Mary.Bunn@NashvilleFirst.org
