Nursery & Worship Care

Through loving, caring relationships with parents and teachers, babies and toddlers begin their journey toward faith in Jesus Christ. With learning activities for busy little hands, preschoolers learn Bible truths they can apply to their preschool world. In a safe and nurturing environment, little ones at First Baptist learn about God, Jesus, the Bible, church, family, self, and their world.

When You Arrive

When you arrive at our Nursery Welcome Center, a nursery leader will greet you and guide you through the check-in process. To ensure the safety of each child, we use a security tagging system to connect children with their parents or caregivers. Each time you visit, your family will receive a tag with a unique number. This security tag must be presented to pick up your child.

During check-in, you can note instructions to help teachers care for your child. You will also be given the option of a pager that will vibrate should we need you during your child’s stay. Please hold or wear the pager at all times while your child is in our care. You may choose to use your cell phone as your pager to receive a call or text when needed.

After you have completed the check-in process, simply wave a quick good-bye. A teacher will immediately get your child involved by creating an interest in a toy or in a learning activity. While some tears are normal, if your child cries for an extended period of time, please be assured that we will page you.
