This section of the Lord’s Prayer invites us to seek and extend forgiveness as an essential aspect of our relationship with God and others. We are exploring the themes of debt, forgiveness, and the transformative power of releasing resentment and guilt.

This section of the Lord’s Prayer invites us to pray, “Give us this day our daily bread.” With this, we are focusing on three major themes:

This section of the Lord’s Prayer invites us to pray for God’s kingdom to come and His will to be done on earth as it is in heaven. We’re exploring the themes of God’s kingdom, the importance of his will, how to pray for his will to be done, and how these realities intersect with our everyday lives.
WEEK 2
HALLOWED BE THY NAME
Matthew 6:9-13; Luke 11:2-4
The name of God is the sum of all his attributes and works of God. That’s why the psalmist says that God has exalted above all things his name and his word (Ps 138:2). It’s why the Old Testament so often speaks of God acting for his own name’s sake (Ps 25:11; Isa 43:6-7; Ezek 10:14).

OUR FATHER IN HEAVEN

We’re entering into deeper prayer as a church. Over the next eight weeks, we will study and practice The Lord’s Prayer in depth. This is Jesus’ prayer. We don’t have to wonder what Jesus prayed for when he retreated from his followers for worship. This is his prayer.
