Jane Madden has planned our trip back to her family roots in Jackson, TN. We will be travel by motor coach, to “The Best Whistle Stop Between Memphis and Nashville.” Our visit will include a buffet lunch followed by a tour of the Plantation House, led by owner, Brooks Shaw, a family friend to Jane. We will also see the Museum, the original 1870’s home of Casey Jones, the expanded 8,000 square foot train Station including railroad exhibits, the Train Gift Shop, and more! Climb aboard Engine 382 and ring the bell!

The village includes Brooks Shaw’s Old Country Store, Casey Jones Home and Railroad Museum, the Farm at Casey Jones Village, Providence House, the Village Chapel, the Village Baker, Casey Jones Village Amphitheater , Art in the Village, Casey Jones Mini Golf, the Wellwood store, Wildlife in Wood Studio, and the Judge Milton Brown Pullman Railcar.
Located nearly halfway between Memphis and Nashville off Interstate 40 @ Exit 80A on the Hwy 45 Bypass.
Greg Patterson will lead the bus journey and Jane Madden will guide us on site.
