Our church is working alongside with Nashville World Outreach Partnership (NWOP) to minister to refugee families in our local community. These hard-working refugee families could use a little extra help with things some of the basic necessities. Though their income from assembly line jobs and packing plants is typically enough to cover the cost of housing, they have little extra to pay for things many of us take for granted. Items like soap and detergent are not covered by SNAP benefits nor are items such as toothpaste and feminine hygiene products. Many do not have the luxury of purchasing such things. Bags are given to needy families who visit NWOP or given out when ministers make “house calls” to minister to people remotely. Any donation you can make is greatly appreciated.

If you would like to pack a “Basics Bag” to donate, please click here to download a sheet with contents.

Here are the due dates that we would need the bags completed by. You can bring them up to the church, and we will deliver them directly to NWOP for you.
  • August – August 22
  • October – Oct. 25
  • December – Dec. 20
If you prefer to donate money instead of a bag itself, you can mail a check to the church, just write “Basics Bag” in the memo line.
