“This is a representation of the Christian fish symbol I made in Royal Ambassadors when I was a young child. The symbol was used by early Christians as an acrostic for the Greek word for fish (“ichthys”) – Iesous Christos Theou Yios Soter, i.e. Jesus Christ, Son of God, Savior.

I have kept this simple craft made by a child as a reminder of who exactly Jesus Christ, Son of God, our Savior is. He is:

Our Hope: Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His great mercy has caused us to be born again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead.
(1 Peter 1:3)

Our Peace: For a child will be born to us, a son will be given to us; And the government will rest on His shoulders;
And His name will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Eternal Father, Prince of Peace.
(Isaiah 9:6)

Our Joy: These things I have spoken to you so that My joy may be in you, and that your joy may be made full. (John 15:11)

Our Love: Just as the Father has loved Me, I have also loved you; abide in My love. (John 15:9)
