Worship will be at our normal time beginning at 10:30 a.m. The Ryman doors will open at 10:00 a.m. Shuttles will begin running at 9:30 a.m. at the church. Please be sure to be early and allow time to walk and/or take a shuttle to the Ryman.
What about Connect Groups?
Connect Groups will not meet on Easter, April 9. We encourage everyone to get involved and volunteer to help make the day a great celebration in our downtown community!
Invite family, friends, neighbors, and co-workers, and be in prayer for this special day.
How do I get there?
The Ryman is an 8-10 minute walk approximately. Shuttles will run continuously between the church and the Ryman before and after the service. Shuttles begin at 9:30 a.m. Pick up areas will be marked in our parking lot.
Does it cost anything to attend the Worship Service?
No cost. Nashville First Baptist Church is hosting a special celebration of Easter in downtown Nashville free of charge. Be sure to register so we know you are coming!
If you don’t sign up ahead of time, or your guest forgets to sign up what can you do? People can walk up to the box office and get a pass on Easter. Do not let that discourage you from inviting friends! By registering, it will help streamline entering the building and taking your seats.
Do I have an assigned seat? Seats are not assigned. It is first come, first serve. There are designated seating areas for wheelchair accessible. Please let our team know if you will need access to wheelchair accessible seating.
What about childcare?
Childcare will be available for babies to 3-year-olds from 9:30 a.m. until after the service on Sunday. Parents and caregivers can bring their children to the Nashville First Preschool desk and check-in on the first floor.
I want to volunteer to help, how do I sign up?
Teams are being organized for various tasks as we speak. Details forthcoming next week on how to sign up! In the meantime, please pray for our church and that God will place someone in your mind whom you’d like to invite or maybe needs a friend to sit with.
What about parking?
Parking is always free when attending a church service. Members and guests are welcome to park in any of our lots during Easter. There are other paid parking lots downtown that are available.
If you have special needs or need handicapped parking, we recommend you park at the church and ride the shuttle. One of our shuttles will be specifically handicap accessible for those with wheelchairs.
What about security?
Our Nashville First Security team will be in place at our building on Easter. It will be very similar to a normal Sunday.
The Ryman has their own security team. All attendees will pass through a metal detector to enter the building. Purses and small bags are fine to bring in the auditorium.
Will the service be livestreamed?
Yes, we intend to livestream through our Youtube and Facebook channels like normal.
