The church is the body of Christ—and we came together in beautiful harmony to worship our Risen Lord this Easter. The Holy Spirit’s presence was felt throughout the service. Glory to God! It was a monumental task to take on with such short notice, and truly could not have happened except for the awesome power of God.

A very special “Thank You” to our congregation, for fully embracing this idea and volunteering your time and resources to make Sunday simply remarkable. As part of living out our vision, one of our key priorities for 2023 is “hospitality,” and you all made sure that every person who came through the Ryman doors – approximately 1,700 people – felt welcomed and part of the celebration.

Our pastors, staff and other church leaders met the logistical challenges presented and created a worship experience that will not be soon forgotten. It glorified His Kingdom and reflected Nashville First’s deep love for our city.

We very much so appreciate our friend and neighbor downtown, the Ryman Auditorium, they were exceptional to work with and we look forward to our continued connection.

So, what’s next? The ministry team and staff will be following up with visitors. Our vision is to be a diverse community intentional in sharing the truth, hope and love of Jesus Christ with the priority of engaging and growing beginning in downtown Nashville. We want to keep this momentum going and work together as a church family to love Nashville and minister to the community around us.

Please join us for our next Gathering on Sunday, April 23 immediately following Worship. The Gathering is our chance to enjoy lunch together and further engage in the life of the church.

Blessings!
