With 2021 coming to a close, it’s time for our church family to review and approve 2022 Ministry Plans. Committees, staff, and teams have been diligently working to prepare our church for opportunities that will be ours in the coming year. Information on the 2022 Ministry Plan are attached in three sections.
NFBC 2022 Church Calendar identifies the schedule of ministry opportunities for our church family to engage in. This is a fluid document and includes everything known as of today. There will be other opportunities that emerge as the year progresses; this report illustrates the depth and breadth of our church’s involvement as the Body of Christ.
NFBC 2022-2024 Nominating Committee Report presents those in our church family who have agreed to serve as church officers and on the eight standing committees of the church. Those listed in red are new volunteers that we are voting on to serve multi-year terms.
NFBC 2022 Budget contains a summary of the anticipated financial requirements for next year. The 2022 giving budget was rounded to $3,000,000 from $2,980,800 in 2021. As a reminder, the $2,980,800 was 92% of the 2020 giving target of $3,240,000; giving for 2020 came in at $3,123,011. We are presently tracking at 95% towards the 2021 giving budget.

A Town Hall meeting will be held next Wednesday, December 1, at 6:00 p.m. in the Seventh Avenue Chapel to answer questions and clarify information on budget, leadership, and the church calendar. If you are unable to attend the Town Hall meeting you may contact members of the Finance Committee, Nominating Committee, and church staff between December 1 and December 8. Also, printed copies of the reports are available in the church office.
The church will approve the 2022 Ministry Plans in Business Meeting on Wednesday, December 8, at 6:00 p.m. in the Broadway Chapel. The meeting will be live streamed for those unable to attend in person.
