Mountain Movers Men
Mountain Movers Men’s Ministry
“I tell you the truth, if you have faith as small as a mustard seed, you can say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there’ and it will move. Nothing will be impossible for you.” – Matthew 17:20
Who We Are
Men of faith are strong, courageous, trusting and serving, who have the faith of a mustard seed to be Mountain Movers.
At Nashville’s FBC, we want to help our men become Mountain Movers. Our Men’s Ministry is a place to join and connect with other men in their journeys toward Christ-centeredness. We do this through studying His Word, sharing life experiences, serving others, and embracing the outdoors and the creation of our Heavenly Father.
We also provide spiritual development opportunities throughout the year, focusing on service and adventure.
Men @ Prayer
All men are invited to weekly prayer on Tuesday mornings from 7-7:30 a.m. in Room 461. We gather for directed prayer for ministries, staff, missions and outreach opportunities of the church as well as for true revival in our community and world.
Those who wish to participate in Men @ Prayer can park for free in Lot D.

Health Awareness
Our men are active participants in the Health Outreach Team at First Baptist Nashville, which provides cardiovascular disease and risk education for men and women. We also participate in Prostate Cancer Awareness month each September.
For information on how to get involved with the Health Outreach Team, contact Jason Jean (jason.jean@vanderbilt.edu).
Missions
Mountain Movers regularly participate in completing local service projects throughout the year, including church building maintenance and individuals in need of basic home repair.
