God Is Good: A Senior’s Reflection on the Class of 2020

“In a time when we cannot even gather together as one, I’d like to remind everyone that God is good. I’ve found this simple phrase especially poignant recently as I reflect on the cancellation of the remainder of my high school years, taking with it its important moments like prom, graduation, and my summer mission trips.” Read a letter to our church family from one our our seniors, Spencer Dunn.

Congratulations to the Class of 2020

Seniors will be recognized Sunday, May 17, via our streaming service at 10:30 a.m. Click here to view a listing of Nashville First’s Senior Class.

Encourage a High School Senior! Please take the time to write a note of encouragement to a high school senior. Share memories or a favorite verse, offer encouragement, and promise to remember them in prayer. Due to the building closure, if you would like to email a note to a Senior, please send those to Sarah Galloway at Sarah.Galloway@NashvilleFirst.org or Joy Fisher at joykfisher@gmail.com. If you prefer to mail a handwritten note or gift to a senior, please mail those to Joy Fisher at 3800 Bryce Rd, Nashville, TN 37211. We are collecting these through Wednesday, May 13. Please try to have all emails or mailed letters in by that date.

Challenge in These Days

Writing to the believers in Rome, the Apostle Paul said, “Now as we have many parts in one body, and all the parts do not have the same function, in the same way we who are many are one body in Christ” (Rom. 12:4-5). Read about the vision for our church.

Are You at a Higher Risk?

As you may know, Mayor Cooper has extended Nashville’s “safer-at-home” order until May 8. However, many surrounding areas are beginning to open up, leaving some to wonder is it safe for me to venture out more? In order to protect yourself and your family, it is good to know who may be at a higher risk. Click here to read.
