“Interruptions. They’re aggravating. Sometimes infuriating. But how we handle interruptions actually tell us more about ourselves. What do we do when God interrupts our lives? May times, like Jonah, we run! Priscilla redefines interruption and shows that interruption is actually God’s invitation to do something beyond our wildest dreams.”

Studies have shown that Americans are the most anxious people in the world. We take the most medication for it, see doctors to treat it, and spend fortunes trying to relieve it. How have we let our fears get the better of us? In Anxious for Nothing, Max Lucado leads readers to reflect on the promises of Philippians 4:4-8. This passage from Paul’s epistle contains an antidote to anxiety that will help you develop a mindset of resilience. Rediscover the power of prayer and take control of your thoughts. You can rest in “the Peace of God, which surpasses all understanding.”

10 Ways God Calls Us to Reflect His Character

Sometimes we ask What is God’s will for my life? when we should really be asking Who should I be? The Bible has an answer: Be like the very image of God.

In His Image explores ten attributes or characteristics of God – holy, loving, just, good, merciful, gracious, faithful, patient, truthful, and wise.  This study will help you understand who God intends for you to be. Through Christ, the perfect reflection of the image of God, we discover how God’s own attributes impact how we live, leading to freedom and purpose as we follow His will and are conformed to His image.

No cost. A book will be mailed to you once you register.

5 Everyday Ways to Love Your Neighbor and Change the World
Begins August 22 – Zoom Only
Mondays Noon to 1:00 p.m. | Led by Sandy Fields
No Charge

What If You Could Change The World Without Changing Your Daily Routine?

When you’ve been transformed by God’s love, you can’t help but want others to experience the same grace and freedom. But how do you share it without scaring them away or offending them? For most Christians, “evangelism” is an intimidating word that suggests handing out tracts to strangers or doing other awkward things.

But what if there was a more organic, more authentic way to share your faith with your friends, neighbors, and coworkers?

Dave and Jon Ferguson have found five simple, straightforward practices that will allow any believer to do just that. And by consistently living them out, you can affect not just individual lives but your entire neighborhood and community—one person at a time.

Thrive Groups

Thrive Groups

6 women – 4 meetings – 2 hours each

Connect with a small group of other women in homes to continue Bible studies and fellowship. Select your preferred area of town and meeting time.

The deadline for registering is August 22, 2022.

Thrive Groups are a group of 6 women who gather 4 times for 2 hours around a table for a meal and conversation. They meet in a home or restaurant once a month between September 2022 and January 2023.

What happens when 6 women gather around a table? They create a regular rhythm of connecting with a group of women. They cut through small talk and build deeper relationships. They give the opportunity for God to display His love to each woman. We as women need the friendship and support of one another in all stages of life! Around a table, we talk, laugh, connect, and share a feast for our hearts and nourishment for our bodies. We build community, dish out stories from our lives, and find Jesus joining us at the party.

Conversation cards will be provided for each of the four meetings and a leader to guide the conversation. The first gathering will be on September 28. Register today to join a flourishing group by filling out the registration form by August 22. If you would be willing to lead a group, be sure and indicate that on the registration form.
