Men’s Bible Study: Daniel, Faithful in the Fire

September 26 @ 6:30 am - 7:30 am

Tuesdays (August 8 – September 26), 6:30 a.m. – 7:30 a.m. | via ZOOM | Led by Alan Raughton

Unlike most of the other books in the Hebrew Bible, the Book of Daniel is not set in Israel. Instead, it’s in the heart of a hostile, pagan empire where God’s people have been taken captive. Daniel is about how to thrive in a dark world.

Men facing the cultural challenges of today will connect to the ancient wisdom of this Old Testament book and learn that the power to make a difference is found in the commitment to be different.

Benefits:

  • Stand as a man against the contrary messages the culture puts in front of you.
  • Become a beacon in a world of despair.
  • Live faithfully in a hostile culture.
  • Understand the book of Daniel.
  • Change the world by transformation instead of separation from it.
  • See that God is better than anything death can take away.
  • Understand the human condition and the role men play in shaping our culture for the better.
  • Develop courage that withstands testing and spiritual adversity.
  • Grasp the value of holding to God when everyone and everything else is letting go.
  • Embrace and trust in the sufficiency of Jesus.
  • Learn to pray in ways that shape and mold the world to be more like the world to come.
  • Build your hope upon the future Redeemer and sureness of His coming kingdom.
