Live a Prioritized Life

A Women’s Retreat

Do you ever feel like life is “getting in the way”? As a woman, the roles you perform may define your daily schedule: friend, wife, mom, accountability partner, driver, chef, etc. It’s no wonder then, when your spiritual life takes a hit.

According to Proverbs 16:3, if you “commit your activities to the Lord, your plans will be achieved.” At this year’s Nashville First Baptist Women’s Retreat, we invite you to discover what it truly means to Live a Prioritized Life, led by guest speaker, Sami Cone. She understands what it takes to balance a busy life.

Who We Are

First Women gather to help nurture our church, our community, and each other in Christ’s love. In addition to encouraging each other in supporting the church’s ministry, we plan a variety of special events and onging activities to help women enjoy life together, build friendships, and grow spiritually.

First Women Prayer

First Women meet in the bond of prayer each Sunday from 8:30 – 9:00 a.m. in the Bride’s Room. We meet to simply pray—no fluff, no food, just fellowship in prayer.

For more information,
contact Diana Chandler,

Soul Time

Soul Time is a gathering of our young women and mentors for a light supper and study most first and third Tuesday evenings. We are currently studying Francis Chan’s Forgotten God.

Craft & Crop

Craft & Crop is held on various weekends throughout the year. It’s a time for crafty ladies to come together at the church with plenty of space to work on your projects. It’s not just for those who scrapbook, either. Bring your knitting, crochet, painting, cardmaking, or other activity, and be sure to invite your friends and neighbors, too!
