Nashville First’s First Kids ministry is designed for elementary-aged children to know, love, and follow Jesus with all their hearts. We use a curriculum with a purposeful scope and sequence to help kids grow in their understanding of the Bible and God’s plan for their lives. Our programs and events are planned to partner with families to fill preschoolers through preteens with the wonder of knowing God, loving Him, and sharing this love with others.

Sunday Mornings

BIBLE STUDY/CONNECT GROUPS | 9-10:15 a.m. We see ministry to children as essential, not optional. Our goal is to provide a joyful, loving, and safe learning environment in which children gain knowledge of God’s Word that will provide the foundation for a life-long relationship with Jesus. We have dedicated teachers with a passion for reaching kids. We use an age-specific curriculum that is intentional in helping First Kids grow in their understanding of the Bible and God’s plan for their lives.

EXTENDED CARE/WORSHIP CARE | 10:15-11:45 a.m. We provide a safe and comfortable place for infants through 3 year-olds to relax or play while their parents or caregivers are attending worship.

Wednesday Evenings

CHILDREN’S CHOIRS | 5:30-6:30 p.m. The goal of our children’s choirs is not to perform, but to gain a lifelong love and knowledge of music. Our age-grouped choirs are staffed by talented leaders committed to growing a generation of worshipers through instrumental exploration, music fundamentals, hymnody, and opportunities to lead the Church in worship.

JOURNEY KIDS | 6:30 – 7:30 p.m. There’s a whole world out there! Not every kid can go, but every kid can be a kid on mission! On Wednesday nights, First Kids can Journey through God’s world as they explore exotic destinations, experience different cultures, and hear learn about missions. First Kids participate in what God is doing by praying, giving, and serving.
